Private Home & Personal Care Services applies a meticulous and consistent process for the recruitment, selection and hiring of staff, which:

  2. Ensures the safety, welfare and protection of clients/families; and
  3. addresses the Agencies current and anticipated future staffing needs

The successful candidate for employment must obtain:

  1. social insurance number
  2. valid drivers license
  3. proof of vehicle insurance
  4. Physicians statement of medical fitness for the position; and
  5. immunization record

 

Successful candidate(s) shall submit three written references to the Manager/ Administrator which shall be verified in accordance with the Agencies policy on Pre-employment Background Checks.

Successful candidate(s) shall submit proof of educational achievements e.g. transcripts, diploma, certificate, degree, which shall be photocopied and placed in his/her personnel file. Validity of educational achievements shall be checked, in accordance with the Agencies policy on Pre-employment Background Checks.
